Capturing the Value of the Gamer Generation - by John Beck, Ph.D of Organizational Behavior, Harvard Univ.
Dr. John C. Beck, co-author of “Got Game: How the Gamer Generation is Reshaping Business Forever”, was the keynote of last year's GSS05. His in-depth analysis of the gap between the gamer generation and their predecessors shows that interactive entertainment is reshaping how the youth of tomorrow think and act.

Christopher Stapleton, Director of Media Convergence Laboratory at UCF, demonstrates how to create a truly immersive and interactive story experience by melting the boundaries between the real and the virtual. His expertise in producing experienced-based media through training has given him insight of the importance of interactive story development.

Prof. Agostino Bruzzone, President of Liophant Simulation and Director SCS International, highlights the different modeling and simulation projects that are available in the European markets. The DIP-University of Genoa and Liophant Simulations help facilitate a reference point for users and providers in the simulation arena.
Exploiting Commercial Games for Military Use - by Cpt. Erik W. Jilson, US Marine Corp.
Captain Erik W. Jilson provides a detailed example of how commercial games are becoming applicable for training and simulation use by the World's militaries. This presentation elaborates on the different international methodologies for the use and the benefits of virtual combat.
